VLE Presentations and Workshops
Below is a list of face to face training options currently available for Moodle 2. Please note that the training schedule has been developed in partnership with our Wave 3 faculties, and wherever possible, style, learning objectives and examples have been tailored to specific audiences.
Current offerings include department, school and site specific trainings for all Wave 3 Faculties: The Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Law. These trainings commenced in April 2012.

Moodle 2 Guided Tour
In this presentation, you will see examples to inspire you with ideas of how you can use Moodle 2 in your learning and teaching. You will see the Monash Moodle 2 Environment live, preview the basics of how to navigate and edit your unit, and learn what other support, resources and workshops are available to help you get started with Moodle (one hour).

Settling into Moodle 2
In this 'hands-on' workshop you will learn how to use Moodle to prepare your unit for teaching in 2012. Content covered will include basic navigation, customising your unit, sharing content, conducting assessments and communication. In the workshop you will have the option to use your Moodle 2 unit with migrated content from Blackboard, your 'from scratch' unit or a training unit (two hours and twenty minutes).
The VLE have also scheduled training sessions specifically for staff from Wave 2 Faculties who may not have attended training prior to the start of Semester 1. Please register for these sessions via the portal booking system.
